Full time with remote working flexibility

Role Description 

The role will be based out of New York with the mission of developing strategic relationships with bank and nonbank lenders, focusing on partnerships with digital lending platforms and other channels in the fintech space. The goal of the team will be to help expand and cement Edge Focus’ relationships to continue to add value for investors through strategic deals and efficient sources of capital and leverage. Working remotely is possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building strong long term relationships with future loan origination partners and leverage providers
  • Conducting business development to identify and prioritize partners
  • Networking through outreach, organizing / attending meetings and other events
  • Preparing presentation materials and other necessary exhibits
  • Keeping records and notes of interactions and suggested follow up
  • Liaising internally to collate data and other information pertinent to all external conversations
  • Work with leadership to effectively communicate and create feedback loops

  • Strong desire to have real input into the future growth of a fintech firm
  • Passionate, capable problem solver that works well in a team environment
  • Good understanding of capital markets, although direct industry experience not required
  • Organized and process oriented, with good attention to detail
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales oriented role with investment bank or hedge fund experience a plus
